Supported the Immoral Government
of the Mariana Islands

FACT: Congressman Doolittle knew that the government of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands tolerated forced abortions, sweatshops, religious persecution and even sex slavery. Yet, at the request of convicted congressional briber Jack Abramoff he not only turned a blind eye to these horrible abuses, he actually lobbied for and supported this immoral government. In fact, Abramoff called Doolittle a “hero” for the CNMI.

Jack Abramoff made over $7 million in contracts from the CNMI. He gave more than $140,000 to Congressman Doolittle and funneled over $66,000 into the family bank account.

Involved In Two Congressional Bribery Scandals

FACT: John Doolittle is the only member of Congress embroiled in both the Jack Abramoff and Randy “Duke” Cunningham Congressional Bribery Scandals.

  • Doolittle took over $140,000 from convicted congressional briber and felon Jack Abramoff, his clients, and his associates.
  • In January of 2006, Doolittle's “good friend” Jack Abramoff pled guilty to fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy charges in connection to a federal bribery investigation involving members of Congress. Read more.
